Programs of Service...

Did you ever buy a ‘foot-long hot-dog’ from the Exchange Club booth at the old fair? Have you ever enjoyed an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast at our annual Pancake Jamboree in February at the FOP Lodge off of Whitesville Road? Did you eat some Kettle Corn at the Thunder in the Valley air show at our Columbus Metro Airport? Did you enjoy a hot breakfast at Callaway Gardens’ open pavillion during their annual Hot Air Balloon festival?

If you answered, “Yes” to any of the above questions, thank you! Every penny we earn through these fundraisers are spent supporting the many community service programs that we provide all year round! Check out all that we do below!!!

The three main themes that define our Programs of Service are

 Americanism      Youth      CommunityService

Americanism               Service to Youth                Community Service

Please click any of the above links for more information about the various community service projects that fall under each category.

FamilyCenter

In 1979, the National Exchange Club founded and administers a foundation that supports the Exchange Club Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Centers in more than 100 cities throughout our nation. Our club is extremely active in our efforts to raise funds for these centers.

TimeoutTeddy

In addition to raising funds for the CAP Centers around the country, we are also very active in providing education and training of Child Abuse Prevention issues to raise awareness of this heartbreaking problem. Don’t be surprised, for example, to find a life-sized Timeout Teddy walking around one of our community service projects looking for a big hug from kids of all ages!

BloodDrive

During the 2010 National Exchange Club’s 92nd annual convention July 21-24, the American Red Cross signed a first-of-a-kind national partnership agreement with us to collaborate on projects for the benefit of local communities. This partnership agreement provides a broad framework for cooperative efforts between our two organizations with respect to disaster assistance, support of local blood drives, health and safety training issues, and other mutually beneficial services and efforts.
